Application<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Complete an application here<\/a><\/strong>. Initial public enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year will be open from March 2-8. Any remaining seats open after March 8 will be filled on a rolling basis. Children who are 3 years old by September 1, 2026 through age 6 are welcome to apply for our 3-6 year old class. Rising 1st-3rd grade homeschoolers are welcome to apply for our homeschool class.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Notification<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Wildsong staff will contact you within one week about your child’s placement or wait-list status, depending on the availability of open seats. If a spot is available, you’ll be asked to pay a $125 non-refundable enrollment fee within 7 days to secure placement.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Once your child has been offered a seat in the program you will receive an enrollment packet with the Family Handbook and forms necessary for participation in Wildsong programs.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Priority Enrollment Categories<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Wildsong\u2019s priority categories for enrollment\/annual re-enrollment are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. Currently enrolled children<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Siblings of currently enrolled children<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Alumni or siblings of alumni families (in good standing)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Children related to employees\/board members of the Mishawaka Res<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. General public<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    A lottery will be run if in any category the demand for seats is greater than the number of seats available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Program Expectations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Families should understand the following program expectations before enrolling their child:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    • Children may be wet\/dirty at the end of a Wildsong program day. Families should be prepared for some additional laundry. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Families will need to provide seasonally-appropriate all-weather gear for their child, including snow and rain gear. A full list of recommended items will be provided in the Family Handbook.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Children need to be potty-trained and able to use the restroom independently.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Children should be up-to-date on routine childhood immunizations, with medical exemptions allowed. Influenza and Covid-19 vaccines are left to the discretion of each family.<\/em> Wildsong’s religious exemption policy is currently under review. If you’d like to apply using this exemption please first contact the Director at wildsongelc@gmail.com.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Once enrolled, families are responsible for the full fees for the year unless a wait-listed child is available to take that spot. Program fees will not be adjusted for sick days, inclement weather days, or family vacations outside of the scheduled breaks at Thanksgiving, winter break, and spring break.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Schedule & Fees<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      Wildsong operates on an academic year basis. Classes begin the last week of August and run through the third week of May, with 4 weeks off for scheduled breaks during the year. All programming days will run from 8:30 am until 11:45 am, with drop off and pick up at The Mishawaka Res in Mishawaka, Indiana. Families may choose to pay per semester or per month. Program fees will be reassessed every 2 years and may increase due to inflation or increased program costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Scholarships\/Sliding-Income Scale Recommendations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      Wildsong is currently raising funds for scholarships and there is no guaranteed availability. We also recognize that a flat-rate program fee does not promote equity, as families in our community begin with varying levels of income. In order to promote a community where all children have access to nature-based programming, below is a recommended sliding-income scale. If your household income is above $75,000, would you consider donating an additional amount above the flat-rate program fee to our scholarship fund? If your household income is below $50,000 and you can’t afford the flat-rate program fee, please reach out to see if scholarship funds are available. When available, scholarships will range from 10%-40% of the total program cost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Wildsong is an approved vendor through Braintree Academy, which is available for homeschool children in Indiana in kindergarten and above. Wildsong does not offer a sibling discount at this time. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
